This is the second album released in 1977 by Ricardo Zappa, an Italian guitarist who has been active since the late 1970's and has developed a wide range of music from folk rock to progressive rock and even new age. The album opens with A1, a solo performance of acoustic guitar playing baroque scales, and the guitar arpeggios gradually heat up with simple percussion. From the guitar solos to the band sound, this is an instrumental work that showcases guitar rock with a hint of Mediterranean flavor throughout. I highly recommend A3 and B2, which have a psychedelic tremolo of guitars with ring modulators and delays, and a refreshing feeling similar to the Krautrock of Harmonia and Neu.
A3: La Chitarra a Pila
B2: Vivre
