This album was released in 1980 by Sexteto Anacaona, a Cuban group from the U.S. who also played in the backing band of guitarist Miguel Matamoros, who is regarded as the father of Cuban music. The warm rhythms of bongos and claves, the melancholy melodies of tres and guitars, the gentle solo of trumpet, and the relaxed vocals and chorus make for a relaxing and moody song that can be enjoyed throughout the album. The simple tone of the recording also gives it a nice old Latin feel.
