The first solo album released in 1971 by Sutomu Yamash'ta, one of Japan's leading avant-garde musicians and percussionists, and his best work in his early years. This is a very progressive work with multiple recordings using various percussion instruments and sounds such as large and small percussions, gongs, steel plates, and more. Both sides of the album are large, with one long track each, and the sound is wonderful, with a groove that sets it apart from the usual free/avant-garde. The percussion on side B is also amazing.
