Album released in 1983 by Super Djata Band, formed as the backing band for Zani Diabate, one of the Diabate family, a great griot family from Mali, West Africa. This is a reissue released in 2013 on the Amsterdam, Netherlands label Kindred Spirits. Based on the indigenous elements of traditional Malian music, the band sublimates a funk groove to create African music with a unique psychedelic feel.
