This album was featured in the guidebook OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION. It was released in 1985 by American composer/pianist Tim Story, who is based in Ohio, through the Norwegian avant-garde independent label Uniton Records. A fully self-performed work, Tim Story handled everything from composition to performance and production. Centered around synthesizers, he delicately builds a melancholic and minimalist sound world using piano, guitar, vibraphone, and other instruments. Despite its calm and introspective tone, the album radiates a shimmering, positive vitality—resulting in a beautiful body of work that captures the essence of minimal ambient sound throughout. The artwork by Kelly Hall is also lovely. Highly recommended. This is a hard to find Japanese pressing, complete with obi and insert.
