Unknown Me, a Japanese ambient/new age unit consisting of Yakenohara, P-RUFF, H. Takahashi, and Osawa Yudai, has released a new album on Not Not Fun Records in California, USA. The album contains 12 tracks recorded between 2016 and 2020, including collaborations with Shokuhin-Matsuri aka foodman, Jim O'Rourke, MC.sirafu, and Lisa Nakagawa. Unknown Me's characteristic simple and pure electronic sounds and playful tricks are incorporated in this album, making it a pleasant and enjoyable listen from start to finish. Highly recommended.
