This is the third album by American singer/songwriter Wendy Waldman, who also wrote songs for Maria Muldaur, released in 1975 following her famous album "Gypsy Symphony". Wendy's vocals are wonderfully sung against the soft rhythms of percussion and electric piano on A1, the melancholy folk rock of the thick rhythms and sad melody of acoustic piano on A6, and the pleasant contrast between the bouncy tones of body percussion and guitar on B1. It's a masterpiece with a cheerful American sound in a country/folk format, but with excellent arrangements and performances. (Chee)
