This is the third album by Andrew Richardson, an undiscovered flute player from Sydney, Australia, who released on his own label in 1985. The album, titled "Rainforest," is a collection of organic new age music, featuring a soft, gentle flute solo by the artist, layered with bells by Adrienne Overall and tape edits by Jim Moginie and Michael Gissing. The melodies have a modern classical/contemporary feel, but the layered birdcall samples on A6 and the combination of floating synth drones and flutes with birdcalls on B6 are great examples of how this music fits into today's sensibilities. A wonderful touch. This is a beautiful copy.
