Japanese pressing of a masterpiece album released in 1975 on the Obscure label founded by British musician Brian Eno, who began his career as a member of the British rock band Roxy Music. The A-side is a long track, recorded in his own studio, with a truly discrete device: a synthesiser via a digital recall system, processed by Echo unit, sent to an open reel recorder, and then back through another recorder to record the delays that had occurred. Side B is a three-part suite featuring The Cockpit Ensemble, conducted by Gavin Bryars. Both have a wonderfully experimental style that is a precursor to the Ambient series, which was inspired by Erik Satie's piece 'Furniture Music' and defines music as a single environment in urban life. The insert includes a commentary by the late Satoshi Ashikawa.
