Brian Eno "Discreet Music"

This is a masterpiece album released in 1975 by British musician Brian Eno, who began his career as a member of the British rock band Roxy Music and founded his own Obscure label. The A-side features an extended track recorded in his own studio. It involves sending synthesizer sounds processed through a digital recall system to Glyco and echo units, then routing the processed audio to an open reel recorder, and further passing it through another recorder to create a delayed recording, showcasing discreet innovations. The B-side is a three-part suite featuring The Cockpit Ensemble, conducted by Gavin Bryars. Both sides draw inspiration from Erik Satie's composition 'Furniture Music,' defining music as an element of urban life in the 'Ambient' series, which is a precursor to Eno's experimental style. This is the UK pressing in 1976 with a red label.
