This is the second album in the "Ambient" series by Brian Eno, who has been presenting environmental music since the mid-1970s after working with Roxy Music and as a solo artist, in collaboration with contemporary musician Harold Budd. Following his previous album "Music for Airport", Eno's definition of environmental music, which aims at the utility of music that surrounds the environment, is evident. I was moved by the evergreen eternity of the music itself. Please read the Japanese commentary to get a glimpse of how Brian Eno's ambient music was perceived in Japan at the time.
