This is a 1976 album by American composer and keyboardist Steve Halpern, who is widely regarded—alongside Iasos—as a pioneer of New Age music and has produced numerous high-quality works. Iasos participates on electric flute. This early masterpiece showcases a spiritual and meditative New Age sound throughout, featuring lush, transparent tones from electric piano and synthesizer, gently intertwined with the floating presence of the electric flute. The title track on Side A is composed of seven parts, each performed in a different keynote, seemingly designed to open one chakra at a time. This version is the U.S. release from 1979, featuring different artwork.
