Born in Manila, Philippines to a Spanish father and a Filipino mother, Junior—also known as Antonio Morales Barretto—relocated from Japanese-occupied Philippines to Spain. In the 1960s, he was a member of the pop group Los Pekenikes, and later pursued a career as a singer and actor in both Spain and the Philippines. This is his second album, released in 1975. It features a superb selection of groovy mellow pop tracks, showcasing his sweet vocals over excellently arranged backing tracks that range from mellow acid folk sung in Spanish to breezy tunes reminiscent of Hawaiian grooves. A very rare Colombian pressing.
