An album released in 1984 by Lo Borges, a singer-songwriter who, alongside Milton Nascimento and Wagner Tiso, is a central figure in the music scene of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Arranged by Wagner Tiso and supported by fellow Minas musicians such as guitarist Toninho Horta and drummer Robertinho Silva, this work showcases the region's rich musical talent. The breezy and uplifting A1 track evokes the feel of Paul Weller’s The Style Council and the Hawaiian AOR gem Tender Leaf, while B1 brilliantly blends bright electric piano backing with spacey synthesizers, perfectly capturing a sense of saudade. This album is a stellar example of the refined sound and melodic sensibility that defines the Minas school, directly influenced by Milton Nascimento. The final track, an acoustic guitar instrumental, is a true highlight.
