In the late 1960s, American soul singer Marcia Hines, who had moved to Australia, gained attention for her performances in the Australian versions of musicals such as 'Hair' and 'Jesus Christ Superstar.' Continuing her successful career, she released an album in 1977. This album showcased R&B and modern soul with a pop-oriented direction, featuring uplifting and soulful disco track B1, as well as a smooth and mellow ballad tune B4. The gorgeous arrangements prominently featured a strings orchestra, contributing to the overall appeal of the album.
