After studying design and photography at an art school, British artist Steve Hiett, who briefly played in the rock band The Pyramid with Ian Matthews and others in the mid-1960s, went on to pursue a full-fledged career as a photographer. This is his only solo album, released in 1983 by CBS/Sony Japan. The album was produced by music critic Naoki Tachikawa. In addition to American guitarist Elliott Randall, known for his work with the rock band The Climax and his solo career, several Japanese musicians also participated. However, Hiett himself handled the guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, crafting the work through overdubbing. While influences from blues, country, and surf rock can be felt, the album is distinguished by its wet tones and richly echoing, floating soundscape, thoroughly reflecting Hiett's unique musical taste. It is a superb work that deserves high praise as a quality AOR (Album-Oriented Rock) album. This is the original Japanese pressing.
