The Scope
After Dark
Japan Records (Japan) 1985
28JAL-25 (LP) Promotional copy. w/obi, insert.
sleeve : NM
media : NM-/NM-(some very slightly surface noises, still fine.)

This is the first album released in 1985 by The Scope, a group formed by keyboardist Hidemi Sakashita and drummer Daizo Okai of Yonin-Bayashi, guitarist Yoshiaki Ueda and percussionist Hidehiko Kawagoe of Surfriders, and bassist Hiroyuki Nagasa of Anzen Band. It's a blend of gothic new wave, new romantic, symphonic rock, and Euro-disco reminiscent of Gazebo. Aside from that, the arrangements, performances, and sound production are excellent, just like Aragon, as it is a group of musicians who have been active since the 70s. Beautiful promo copy.
