The album by Antoinette Vischer, a female harpsichordist from Basel, Switzerland, who is known for her performances of works by Gyory Ligeti and Korean composer Isang Yun, and who also played on Joohn Cage and Lejaren Hiller's HPSCHD album on Nonesuch. Originally released on the German label Wergo in the late 60s, this Japanese edition features a new silkscreen printed artwork by Kohei Sugiura, who has designed all the albums in this series. Performed on the harpsichord, a Baroque keyboard instrument, the album features works from the avant-garde by Hans Ulrich Engelmann, Luciano Berio and Earle Brown to the neoclassical music of Bohuslav Martinu and Alexander Tscherepnin, and jazzmen such as Martial Solal and Duke Ellington. A4 is the graphic score by Earle Brown of the John Cage school. B5 is different arrangement on Duke Ellington's lyrical compositions.
