A 1975 album by German percussionist Detlef Schonenberg, who is also known for his outstanding duo works with Gunter Christmann. Released on the German label Free Music Production, known for its dedication to free jazz and experimental music. This work features free-form drumming performed on a drum set that includes a vast array of percussion instruments such as gongs and cymbals of various sizes. Side A unfolds with an alternation between torrents of sound and moments of silence, while track B1 bursts with trippy sounds processed with delay and reverb. Track B2 is equally intense, delivering a uniquely resonant vibration that feels as if a crack has formed in the sonic space. It's almost as if Conny Plank himself had mixed it. Highly recommended.
B1: D - 74 - 4 (a-b-c)
B2: E - 74 - 9
