German cellist Fredi Alberti was a member of the first album of Pan Ra, an ethnic music project expressing the music of the mysterious Atlantis continent, and also his album "Klaenge Aus Dem" released in 1981 was featured in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION". This one side 7 inch single was released in 1981. The music was recorded in an old church at a historic site in Ingelheim am Rhein, Germany, and has a wonderful organic and acidic sound with minimal improvisation by the cello creating a deep reverb effect with the unique echoes of the church. A visual artist who has created artwork for Peter Michael Hamel's "Nada," Michael Vetter's "Tambura Preludes" and "Overtones," Pan-Ra's "Music from Atlantis," and many other works. The reverse side is a very artistic piece with an etching by Kropp's hand.
This is a deadstock unused item. Light ringwear and light fading to the sleeve, signed by the artist.
