sleeve : EX-(slightly wear.)

This is the second album by Fripp & Eno, an ambient project formed by Robert Fripp, a key member of the UK's legendary progressive rock band King Crimson, and Brian Eno, who left Roxy MUsic to found his own label Obscure. It released in 1975, following (No Pussyfooting) in 1973. The album features a lot of shimmering electric guitars that seem to respond to the Krautrock of Harmonia and others. A1, in particular, has been widely cited as a typical format for ambient/chill-out music in the club scene since the 1990s. B1, which fills the entire disc, is an endlessly deep droning sound created by synthesizer and electric guitar feedback, and is also a great classic. This is a special edition produced by Polydor.

A1: Wind on Water
B1: An Index of Metals
