This is the second album released in 1976 by the Yamashiro-gumi, an experimental group that has been active since the 1960s as a base for criticizing civilization by seeking and verifying the original lifestyle of humanity as promised by DNA. The album was produced by Toyo Nakamura, one of the leading critics of world music in Japan. One of the most representative performances of the Yamashiro-gumi, which continues to work energetically while its members are fluidly replaced, is an arrangement of Bulgarian folk songs as well as Russian and Georgian (now Georgian) folk songs. The album is a masterpiece.
