An album released in 1997 by avant-garde artist Henri Chopin, who, long before tape recorders became widely accessible, created numerous experimental sound works and sound poetry pieces by manipulating recordings of concrete sounds and the human voice. In addition to his artistic output, he was also active as an editor, publishing the art magazine Revue OU—which included 10-inch records—throughout the 1960s and 1970s. This album was originally issued as a limited edition of 80 copies on green vinyl; the version here is the standard edition, limited to 300 copies. It compiles previously unreleased sound poetry and two tracks from the 1983 release Audiopoems. The two tracks from Audiopoems are presented here for the first time with correct-speed mastering.
