This album was released in 1986 by Karlheinz Stockhausen, one of Germany's leading composer, who began with serie rhythms and continued to develop into group music, momento form, and forme techniques, as well as numerous live electronic works. The electronic music is composed of 16 tracks of recorded a cappella and 8-track or 2-track playback, edited together to form a stand-alone tape piece. Stockhausen's own description in the liner notes says that is recommended to make a program with "Electronic Study I and II," "Kontakte," "Telemusic," "Hymnen," and others. If you have DJ equipment, it would be more interesting to try playing these pieces together.
