The project brings together three geniuses: Conny Plank, an engineer/producer from Düsseldorf, Germany who has worked on numerous krautrock albums; Holger Czukay, bassist for Can and the author of numerous solo masterpieces; and Axel Gros, guitarist/composer for Brian Eno's "On Land" and Glenn Branca's "Symphony No. 3". This 12" single was released in 1980 under the name Les Vampyrettes. It is a dark horror experimental electronics with minimalist refrains of single notes of guitar and bass, super trippy electronic sounds that seem to be EMS Synthi-A flying through the space, and scarey spoken words. Conny Plank's tremendous mixing is brilliant. The inner sleeve also includes a Japanese translation by Damo Suzuki.
There are minor scuffs throughout the disc, but they have little effect on the playback sound.
