A new release from British modular synthesist Richard Scott, who has been active since the mid-1980s, contributing to works by artists such as Anthony Phillips and Rick Wakeman, and who also released a musique concrète piece in 1992 in collaboration with Rex Casswell, making extensive use of sampling. This record comes from Off Center Records, a new experimental music imprint launched by Dotei Records, the Hachioji, Tokyo-based record shop. Featuring four wildly twisted tracks, it delivers complex beats driven by electronic tones and collage-like sounds that are sure to stimulate the brainstem.
