The album by Vienna Art Choir, released in 1983 on the German metamorphic experimental jazz label Moers Music. Under the direction of Swiss composer Mathias Ruegg, known as the leader of the Vienna Art Orchestra, the band is fronted by Lauren Newton and features a total of 12 voice performers, including AACM graduate George Lewis, who has recorded some of his best-known albums for Black Saint, as well as Wolfgang Pusching and Christian Radovan. This is a wonderful piece of very deep and experimental performance throughout, with Newton's amaging voicings at its core, and the human flesh voice emitting a variety of sounds as if it were a percussion instrument. Nice touch is that the titles of each song get longer and longer in turn.
