A deadstock copy of a CD album released in 1999 by Nami Hodatsu, a Japanese singer/songwriter who has been active since 1993 and whose past albums have recently attracted a great deal of attention among core enthusiasts, as well as her collaboration with Gagaku and Sho player Ko Ishikawa. Her clear voice and singing style, described by Haruomi Hosono as "the voice of a shaman," are of course clear, but she also creates a consistent spiritual world with instrumental tracks mainly using synthesizers and improvisations with mouth harp and percussion, while keeping a pop flavor at the forefront. This is a work of art.
