JUZU a.k.a. Moochy's CROSSPOINT has entered next stage with the release of a new cassette tape.
Composer/trumpeter Christopher Fryman was born in Manchester, England during World War II, grew up in Canada, and now lives and works in Kyoto.
Tokyo Ghetto Shamisen is a Shamisen(Japanese three strings instrument), who since mastering the Tsugaru shamisen of the Chikuzan school, he has studied classical shamisen music from all over Japan, including traditional Japanese folk songs, Shinnai, and traditional East Asian music, and has created his own unique shamisen music for the modern age.
Yuuji Hiromoto is a tabla player who began performing in India and Germany around 1999, and has since been exploring and developing his own unique sound in addition to classical music.
KND is an electronic musician and producer who has been active in various projects including SOFT, Kobeta Piano, and KOKENSHOW, and also demonstrates his talent as an engineer.
Producer J.A.K.A.M. reconstructs the track of free improvised sessions in Kyoto in 2018-22 by four musicians, each with different musical styles.
Inspired by the pond garden of the Kyoto Imperial Palace, this work is full of originality. It is wonderful. Please give it a listen.

Through J.A.K.A.M.'s reconstruction, it becomes a wellspring of time and space, reflecting soundscapes reminiscent of a Japanese garden.
Chee Shimizu
The shamisen, a traditional Japanese instrument, blends its unique tones with the trumpet, known for its solitary sound among wind instruments, and the traditional Indian instrument, the tabla, resonating alongside modern electronic music devices. A group of international members gathers under the name 'ZEN' to create and share their music.
