Mitar Subotic practiced the most avant-garde and experimental musical activities in the former Yugoslavia (now Serbia). It can be experienced on "Disillusioned!", a 1987 album under the name Rex Illusivii, and "In The Moon Cage", a collection of unreleased tracks released on Offen Music in 2015 through the efforts of Serbian DJ Vladimir Ivkovic. This is a double album Subotic produced after moving to Brazil and released in 1999 under the name Suba. Inspired by the chaotic energy of Sao Paulo, Brazil, which Subotic himself called "the blade runner of the tropics," Subotic sublimated Brazilian music into various styles of dance music to create this masterpiece.
