The sixth release from the label run by Dotei Records, a record shop based in Hachioji, Tokyo. This 12-inch single features four tracks from Turlcarly, the solo project of bassist Keisuke Taniguchi, known for his work with improv session band TCS, among others. Built around finely detailed electronic sounds generated through computer programming, the record presents experimental dance music that blends ambient-like floatiness with a sense of clarity and transparency. Notably, the bassline on track B1 is performed on double bass. Although it's a 45 RPM record, all tracks are screw-play friendly. Highly recommended.
