This is the second album by French electronic musician Jean-Pierre Thanes, released in 1984. This is a spectacular total concept work written entirely in analog synthesizer electronic music on the theme of Occitania, a cultural area centered in southern France that speaks its own language. The style is quite dramatic, similar to that of Jean-Michel Jarre, another French electronic music master, but the reproduction of the sounds of thunder and earthquakes, nostalgic melody lines reminiscent of ancient civilizations, and other elements make it even more interesting and narrative than that. In particular, the thick waves of electronic sounds heard in B2 and B4 have something in common with the Japanese Bach Revolution masterpiece "Waga Kokoro Imada Yasuraka Narazu". Highly recommended.
