A charming artist photo shows German composer and synthesist Karunesh standing with a Roland SH-101 slung over his shoulder—an endearing sight. This album, released in 1985, features a sparkling melancholic electronic sound crafted using iconic synths of the 1980s such as the Linn 9000, Yamaha TX816, Yamaha DX-7, PPG Wave Synth, Roland JX-3P, and Roland Jupiter-4. The melodies carry an exotic, somewhat Asian flavor, adding to the album's unique character. It's a completely gentle, flower-filled kind of organic new age music—reminiscent in some ways of mid-period Vangelis.
