Formed in the 1960s Berlin underground scene by Manuel Gottsching, Klaus Schulze, and Hartmut Enke, Ash Ra Tempel gained legendary status at the heart of Krautrock psychedelia, with heavy psychedelic rock releases on the Ohr label and cosmic sessions led by Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser. The group was revived as a solo project by Manuel Gottsching, and in 1976, they released their 7th album, considered one of the pinnacles of German electronic music. The album creates a utopian world through the shimmering brilliance of synthesizers, like rays of dazzling light, and the rhythmic guitar overdubs that follow in the footsteps of Gottsching's previous work Inventions for Electric Guitar. It’s rare for music to have such a profound impact on life, but this is one of those powerful albums. This is a UK reissue in 1984/
