A reissue of the 1990 album by Mouth Music, a group from Edinburgh, Scotland, formed in 1988 by Martin Swan, Talitha MacKenzie and Martyn Bennett. Utilizing bagpipes, fiddles, guitars, and computer-based sampling, the album modernizes the rhythms of traditional Scottish Gaelic words through electronic elements. It was a highly innovative approach for its time, and even today, it sounds remarkably fresh.
