This is the third solo album by American synthesizer player Roger Powell, released in 1980. Powell was a member of Todd Rundgren's band Utopia, and Todd himself contributes guitar on one track. Aside from the band elements, it appears Powell handled nearly all the equipment himself. As a former recording engineer, he delivers crisp and dynamic spacey synthesizer sounds paired with excellent pop-oriented track-making. The result is a collection of cosmic, imaginative tracks. As one might expect from someone in the Todd Rundgren circle, it's an album that offers enjoyment from multiple angles.
