Album released in 1967, featuring electronic music produced by researchers at the University Of Illinois Experimental Music Studios, founded by Lejaren Hiller in 1958 at the University of Illinois, USA. Led by studio founder Lejaren Hiller, the album features tape music by Herbert Brun, Kenneth Gaburo, Charles Hamm, Salvatore Martirano and others, as well as electrified piano, percussion and chamber music. Recommended among these are Garuro's tape-only works A2/A3 and Brun's B1, which uses speakers and tape.
