This was featured on the guidebook OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION. Released in 1986 from Ocora, a high-quality world music label in France known for numerous field recording works, this is an improvisation duo album featuring the Peruvian folk instrument Kena played by the lead performer Kudsi Erguner and the Turkish folk instrument Ney played by Xavier Bellenger. Set within a profoundly resonant space, the dry tones of the Kena and Ney resonate vividly, creating a natural psychedelic music experience. This album can also be appreciated as nature-inspired New Age/Ambient music. It's recommended for fans of multi-instrumentalist Stephan Micus, who has released works on ECM, and flute player Paul Horn.
