L'incroyable et Longue Histoire d'un Tambour et sa Memoire
Ocora (France) 1985
558609 (LP)
sleeve : VG+(SOC, dirts on rear.)
media : EX-/EX-(some slightly surface noises caused by slightly hairlines.)

A live recording album by Martin Saint-Pierre, a gifted percussionist from Argentina who defected to France, recorded at a concert organized by Radio France in 1982. Released on Ocora, a French label specializing in world music that produces many high-quality field recordings. The primitive percussion rhythms reflecting the tradition of Latin music are openly and dynamically played with modern interpretation and experimentation in this intense performance. A groove that is so amazing.
