Math Samba
Timboyo! - Chants et Rythmes d'Afrique
Le Chant Du Monde (France) 1976
LDX 74596 (LP) gatelof sleeve.
sleeve : VG+(wear on one corner, some dirts on inside of gatefold sleeve.)
media : EX+/EX+(some slightly surface noises, still good.)

Math Samba was Africa's foremost percussionist, who also played on Sun Ra Alkesta's 1971 album It's After the End of the World and 1973's Live in Paris at the "Gibus". This album, released in 1976, presents a world of primitive African music, played on a variety of African folk instruments and chants. The majority of the songs are original compositions by Math Samba, with ensembles on the African xylophone balafon and chants sung over the intense percussion sounds of the tom-toms and other percussion instruments.
