Released in 1978 from the UNESCO Collection "Music of the World" series, this album features the folk music of Melanesia in the Solomon Islands. It presents the music of two societies in Melanesia, the Fatale and the Baeg. The music is very simple, but soloistic, ranging from solo performances on bamboo instruments called sukute (which are similar to those found in other countries), mane flute, and kwadiri, a bowed instrument, to storytelling and lullabies and other chants, allowing the audience to enjoy the folk music of these two tribes. The melody of the lullaby in B1 is applied to some song, but I can't remember what it is. Is it Deep Forest?

B1: 子守歌、ロログウェラ
B4/B5: 楽弓クワアディリの独奏/男たちの語りの歌、アイ・ニ・マエ
