中央アフリカ ~ジャングルに響く原住民の歌声
Philips (Japan) 1976

sleeve : EX+
media : EX+/EX+(Some parts may have a slight dust noise)
Released in 1976 as the seventeenth installment in Philips' "World Atlas of Folk Music" series, this album features folk music of the indigenous peoples of Central Africa, including Senegal, Mali, Cameroon and other West African countries. The B-side features five pieces performed by "King Baudouin's Troubadours," the most famous boys' choir in Zaire, as well as folk music from Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya performed by the De Boer Choir, a male choir from New Jersey, USA, which visited Japan in 1954. The simple but colorful sound of the improvised kora and balafon is very comfortable.
