Shakuhachi player Hozan Yamamoto has made great achievements not only in the classical music but also in contemporary activities. This is the fifth in a series of compilations of his original compositions, and Hozan play the two pieces on the A-side. "Autumn" is a shakuhachi solo by himself, which combines the Western minor scale and the Inshiho method, and uses tangling and tremolo techniques to play seven notes and three notes in a way that is unique to him. The shakuhachi quintet by the group Shakuhachi 1979 is also very avant-garde and wonderful. In addition, you can enjoy an ensemble with eight koto players and a shakuhachi duet.
