This album was released in 1982, by the guitarist Ken Yajima, who, like Haruomi Hosono, were among the first to use the Fairlight II, the world's first sampler synthesizer, to record songs at home. The band, consisting of guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and electronics, played blues-rock based instrumental progressive rock with synthesizers. The bluesy electric guitar solos and trippy analog synthesizer sounds on A2, and the contrast between the thick, resonant drones of the analog synthesizer and the electric guitars, layered with a vocoder chorus on B2, are the best of all. I highly recommend it.

A2: Smoke Zone
B2: Journey to the End of Time
