This album was released in 1980 on the prestigious Danish label SteepleChase by the Ferre brothers, Boulou and Elios—sons of Matelo Ferret, who performed alongside Django Reinhardt. Widely regarded as two of the greatest contemporary musicians within the Manouche (Gypsy jazz) tradition, the brothers showcase their exceptional artistry on this recording. The album features a superb selection of gypsy jazz, including original compositions by the duo, traditional tunes, and covers of artists like Miles Davis and Lee Konitz. The lyrical melodies, played on nylon-string guitars with a soft yet vibrant tone, are deeply expressive and beautifully executed. This particular edition is a high-fidelity heavyweight vinyl reissue released by Pure Vinyl in 1993.
