An album released in 1974 by American reed player Eric Dolphy, who had been active on the front lines since the late 1940s and was known as a pioneer in using the bass clarinet as a lead instrument in jazz. The album was released by the Instant Composers Pool, led by Misha Mengelberg, Han Bennink, and Willem Breuker. Side A features a live recording of a quartet performance with Misha Mengelberg (p), Jacques Schols (b), and Han Bennink (ds) in Eindhoven, Netherlands, in 1964. The recording was made without permission from the audience and was handed over to Bennink a few years later. Side B was recorded in 1972 at Mengelberg's residence in Amsterdam with Eeko (vo) and Mengelberg (p). The B-side is particularly interesting, featuring Eeko's whistling and spoken word. Both sides have very poor sound quality due to being air recordings on a cassette tape.
