A duo album released in 1977 by French pianist Jean-Pierre Mas—who, as part of the one-off group Rupture led by Sylvain Krief, left behind the classic 1973 album Israel Suite / Dominante en Bleu—and Brazilian bassist Cesarius Alvim, known for his collaborations with Baden Powell, Daniel Humair, and Edgardo Canton. This album marks the beginning of several future duo releases by the pair. Their vibrant contrast between acoustic piano and upright bass paints a refreshing and vivid sonic landscape. The back cover of outer sleeve features handwritten signatures from both musicians.
