sleeve : VG+(SRW, SOC, wear on corner, dirts.)
media : VG+/VG+(some light noise caused by slightly hairlines.)
Founded in 1968 by Doung Sax and Lincoln Mayorga, Sheffield Lab in Santa Barbara, California is well known in audiophile circles as a pioneer of direct-to-disc recording technology. In 1981, the label issued this limited-edition test record for audio components. Each side features an improvised drum solo—one by Jim Keltner, who has recorded with major artists such as John Lennon and Bob Dylan, and the other by Ron Tutt, best known for his decade-long work with Elvis Presley. Packed with cymbal crashes, snare hits and rolls, as well as beats that can serve as perfect break material, the record offers wide-ranging possibilities for both testing and creative use.
