Kenneth Terroade, born in Jamaica and moved to London at the age of 14, made his debut as a saxophonist and worked with Chris McGregor, John Surman and Mike Osborne, and released his only leader album in 1969 on the prestigious French BYG series <Actuel >His only leader album, released on the prestigious French BYG series <Actuel> in 1969, featuring Ronnie Beer (as,ts,ft), Francois Tusques (p,bf), Evan Chandley (b-cl,ft), Beb Guerin (b), Earl Freeman (b), Claude Delcloo ( ds), and recorded in a Paris studio that same year. The band members create a chaotic space with their free-form sounds, while the ethnic and organic orientation of the music is sometimes apparent in this lengthy session. The B-side is particularly recommended.
