An album released in 1981 by American bassist Robert Miguel Miranda, who had been active since the 1970s, participating in works by Charles Lloyd and Vinny Golia, as well as performing as a member of Horace Tapscott's Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra. The album features percussionist Virgilio Figueroa, who also played in the Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra, along with long-time collaborators such as Vinny Golia, Alex Cline, and Wynell Montgomery. A true masterpiece, it showcases a wide range of sounds—from primitive and groove-rich crossover jazz incorporating Afro-Latin percussion to spiritual and avant-garde expressions. Original U.S. pressing.
